Pir Sohrab District (Persian: بخش پيرسهراب) is in Chabahar County, Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Pir Sohrab.[3]
At the 2006 National Census, the region's population (as Pir Sohrab Rural District of the Central District) was 20,281 in 3,798 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 23,952 people in 5,347 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, there were 25,265 inhabitants in 6,493 households.[2]
After the census, the rural district was separated from the Central District and elevated to the status of a district, with two rural districts and no cities.
