Piscologia
PiscoLogia is a Peruvian pisco (clear brandy) distilled in Azpitia, in the Denomination of Origin of Lima [1] . PiscoLogia Pisco is imported to the USA by Washington State-based Topa Spirits, LLC. It was founded in 2008 by partners Meg McFarland and Krystle Hicks.[1]. During a partnership change in 2015, Nati Gordillo and Kami Kenna took part ownership and they currently operate Topa Spirits with founding partner Meg McFarland [2]. The company's two products: PiscoLogía Acholado and PiscoLogía Quebranta are currently marketed and sold in the USA by Craft Distillers [3]. PiscoLogía is sold throughout the USA and also in Hong Kong and Japan [4].
PiscoLogia is considered a "terroir-driven, craft" pisco [5]. It has received positive reviews, including an article from Serious Eats who stated it is "one of the more sippable blends out there with a distinct personality making it worth getting to know" [2]. PiscoLogia is sold online by Caddell and Williams [6]
