PixelFade Inc. is a Canadian independent video game development studio founded on May 3rd, 2014.[1] The company started its first project, Kendo Crush!, in the same year on Kickstarter. Although development was halted due to disagreements between staff, existing assets and basic narrative elements were preserved as the main story was rewritten in a new setting, and the title was changed to Ace Academy, which released officially on August 22, 2016, making it their first title.
