Started by Akshay Bardapurkar, founder of Planet Marathi, the 1st of its kind app for Marathi having content streaming. Planet Marathi OTT aims to connect Marathi audience from towns to cities to corners of India and abroad. With a wide range of content from fiction to non fiction, the uniqueness of the OTT shall be its unique and newly created contents.[18][19][20][21][22][23][24][25][26][27][28][29][30][31] Singapore-based Vistas Media Capital has partnered with Planet Marathi Seller Services Pvt. Ltd. to introduce an OTT platform named Planet Marathi OTT focused on the Marathi content.[32][33] Planet Marathi OTT is the first dedicated OTT Platform for exclusive Marathi Contents in the Over The Top media service in India.
