Planhat AB (Planhat) is a Swedish-American customer relationship management (CRM) software company headquartered in Stockholm and Los Angeles. Planhat’s product is a customer relationship management (CRM) used both before and after the initial sale to manage renewals, expansion and customer health across revenue and service teams.[1]
History
Planhat was founded in 2015 by Kaveh Rostampor and Niklas Skog to build a CRM tailored to retaining and expanding existing customers rather than only acquiring new ones.[1] After several years of self-funded growth, the company raised a US$50 million Series A round led by Sprints Capital in April 2022.[2] Reporting at the time described it as one of the larger Nordic Series A deals that year and indicated a post-money valuation of roughly €490 million.[2]
Products
Media coverage characterises Planhat’s software as a CRM system also focused on the post-sale phase of the customer lifecycle, bringing account information, usage signals and workflow tools together to support retention and expansion by revenue and customer teams.[1][2]
Funding
- Series A (2022): US$50 million led by Sprints Capital, following a period of bootstrapped growth.[2]
Reception
In July 2024, Sifted placed Planhat on its list of “Nordic soonicorns” (startups viewed as approaching a US$1 billion valuation), citing its Stockholm base, 2016 product launch and the 2022 financing.[3]
