PlasticsEurope is the European trade association for the plastics industry.
History[edit]
It was founded as the Association of Plastics Manufacturers in Europe (APME) in 1976.
It became PlasticsEurope on 22 January 2005.
Structure[edit]
There are 60,000 companies in the European industry, 1.45m employees, and 320bn euros in turnover per year.
It is headquartered in Belgium.
