Playsaurus Inc. is an American video game developer and video game publisher based in Los Angeles, California. Founded in 2011, the company initially focused on making Flash games and are best known for developing Clicker Heroes.
History[edit]
In 2011, Playsaurus released Cloudstone.
In 2014, Playsaurus released Clicker Heroes as a browser game which used many of the assets from Cloudstone. The game gained significant recognition and the game expanded far beyond just being a browser game.[1] On May 13 2015, Clicker Heroes was released on Steam where it made its way into the top 10 games being played on Steam at the time.[2] On June 2 2015, Playsaurus announced they would be partnering with R2Games to release the game on mobile.[3] And on March 10 2017, Clicker Heroes made its way to consoles. [4]
In July 2018, Playsaurus released Clicker Heroes 2.
In January 2019, Playsaurus published The Eternal Castle [REMASTERED] on Steam.
In September 2020, Playsaurus released Mr. Mine.
In July 2021, Playsaurus released Poker Quest, a fantasy Roguelike which uses a deck of playing cards.
On September 1 2021, Playsaurus published Cookie Clicker on Steam.[5]
By September 3 2021 the game had sold over 100,000 copies.[6]
