Pleasures Magazine is a Pan-African entrepreneurship and lifestyles magazine founded by by Adedotun Babatunde Olaoluwa.[1].
History[edit]
The magazine was first launched in 2012 as weekly newspaper and re-branded in 2015 as a glossy magazine focuses on Entrepreneurial’s success story, Luxury lifestyle, Fashion and Events[2].
Coverage[edit]
Pleasures Magazine is widely circulated in Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Kenya, and part of East and North Africa countries, also in the United Arab Emirates, the United States, and United Kingdom[3].
Pleasures Magazine publishes six times in a year.
The magazine January 2019 edition featured 100 most influential Africans in 2018 in collaboration with the African Press Organization[4]
Rahma Indimi, daughter of Nigerian businessman Mohammed Indimi and ex wife of Mohammed Babangida[5] in May/June 2019 issue of the magazine narrated how she is driven by an unwavering passion and determination to support the less privilege and saving the lives of thousands of internally displaced persons (IDPs) in the North-East of Nigeria via her foundation[6].
September / October 2019 issue of the magazine 'celebrates Women Entrepreneurs at the forefront of Transformation', a special issue to celebrate the first female film producer and director from the United Arab Emirates, Nayla Al Khaja for her achievements and for being an inspiration to other women[7]
