Plug-in electric vehicles in Saskatchewan
As of 2022[update], there were about 1,200 electric vehicles in Saskatchewan, accounting for about 0.1% of all vehicles in the province.[1]
Government policy[edit]
In October 2021, the provincial government introduced an annual $150 registration fee for electric vehicles, the first of its kind in Canada.[2][3] As of May 2022[update], the province does not offer any tax rebates for electric vehicle purchases.[4]
