Plutus.it is a London-based fintech company founded in 2015 by Danial Daychopan and Jasper Tay.[1] They developed an app to enable Bitcoin users to use cryptocurrency at NFC-enabled merchants worldwide. In 2016, they raised $1 million USD through crowdfunding.[2] Plutus introduced PlutusDEX in 2018, a platform for peer-to-peer currency exchange.[3] On 25th January 2022, Pluton became one of the lowest market cap coins to be listed on Coinbase.[4] In 2020, they launched Pluton Rewards and Plutus Perks, and PlutusDEX functionality. Plutus partnered with Curve and Prepaid Ventures, updated their subscription model, and added new perks. They selected Modulr as their banking partner in 2023.[5]

Plutus's finance app includes fiat account (UK account or a European IBAN). Plutus offers fiat accounts, non-custodial crypto wallets, and a crypto-fiat exchange. Customers with a Plutus Card earn 3% back in crypto, when they shop online or in store with the Plutus debit card. Stacking of Pluton Rewards (PLU)unlocks additional rewards at selected brands, including Netflix, Spotify, Prime, Apple One, Uber, Aldi, Asos and Deliveroo Plus. Plutus is partnered with Contis, ClearJunction, and Visa.[1]
