Point Crow
Point Crow is a small streamer on twitch who started in February 2019[1]. His actual name is Eric and lives in Los Angeles California. He graduated in the year 2020 while streaming while in college. During college Eric pursued a degree in material sciences in hopes of being an engineer. After completing college Eric moved to full time streaming, streaming Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday starting at 2pm Pacific Time. Eric is most known for his Breath of The Wild speed runs and other first time challenges. Some of his most notable runs would include beating Breath of The Wild with only bombs, beating Breath of The Wild with a dance pad, and beating Breath of The Wild with only a stick.
World Records and First Time Challenges
Eric has two positions in the Breath of The Wild leader boards holding 9th place for Dog% with a time of 2h 36m 14s 049m[2] and is 15th in Die% with a time of 1m 09s 075m[3]. Other than the two world records in competitive categories, he has been the first person to complete multiple challenges in Breath of The Wild.

Twitch beating Breath of The Wild
A notable run of Eric's is beating Twitch chat beating Breath of The wild. In this run twitch chat was able to type in what they wanted to do, like side hop. In real time Link was able to respond to thousands of people’s requests.[4] Although it wasn't the first time someone has done a twitch chat challenge, the run caught traction due to the fact that chat was not helped, but pinned against Lynels, bosses, and Hinoxes[5] mini bosses in the game.
Beating Breath of The Wild with only a shield
Eric was the first person ever to beat Breath of the Wild with only a shield. To complete this challenge would mean that he would be unable to use in combat any bows or weapons in the challenge.[6] After completing the challenge Eric redid the challenge without bombs because of controversy over whether bombs should be counted as weapons. In order to complete the run Eric had to use the moon jump glitch[7] in Breath of the Wild.
Beating Breath of the Wild without walking
In order to defeat Breath of the Wild Eric needed to hop his way to victory instead of walking. The only exception to the rule is during cut scenes where it forces you to a set coordinate and forces you to walk. To be able to defeat this challenge he used a nifty trick by using the scope to change where Link was facing .[8]
Beating Breath of the Wild with a stick
Beating Breath of the Wild was a joke until Eric actually did it. The rules of the challenge were simply to only use a stick in combat. Meaning that he was able to have weapons in his inventory, but he couldn't use the weapons, meaning that the durability of the weapon had to be at 100. In order to complete this challenge he needed to use the duplication glitch. The glitch is used to transfer the durability of a weapon to another one. In order to do the glitch you need x3 and x2 bows and equip them one at a time with electric arrows equipped. After equipping them you place them on the ground and the game still has the electric arrows on the ground and after placing multiple on the ground the game has to delete some stuff in its memory. Doing this makes Link lose his head or body, meaning that the glitch has worked. You then equip the weapon you want to have the durability. The game still thinks that the weapon equipped is the weapon you had equipped before setting all the bows on the ground. After doing damage with the weapon all you have to do is pick up the bows and the durability is transferred. Eric used this in the run by transferring the durability of the double axe onto the stick multiple times in order for it not to break.
On 6/18/2020 Eric became famous on twitter and made it to the trending page on twitter with the #pointcrowisoverparty. With the support of Eric's twitch chat and the help from a famous celebrity he was able to make it to the trending in the United States page for a total time of an hour.
Mods
Eric has played a major impact on new streams. During his time streaming he has helped encourage his mod Olicherries to become a streamer. In an interview with Olicherries he stated that Eric “Basically made it look fun and made me think I could do it, and I became a big part of the community.” Similarly, he has also affected AbbyBagel in another interview she stated “He’s given me a community to be a part of, he’s always been an encouraging friend and supporter. He saw potential in my art and encouraged me to stream.”
