Polish rouble

The Polish rouble (Polish: rubel polski; Russian: польский рубль), also known as the Bank of Poland rouble (Russian: Рубль Польского банка), was the currency of the Congress Poland from 1841[1] until 1917. It consisted of Imperial rouble coins and banknotes together with notes issued by the Bank of Poland. The rouble replaced the złoty at a rate of 1 rouble = ​6 23 złoty (1 złoty = 15 kopecks). It was replaced by the mark in 1917.

Banknotes[edit]

The Bank of Poland issued notes in denominations of 1, 3, 10 and 25 roubles between 1841 and 1866.
