Pompi, whose real name is Chaka Nyathando, is a Zambian musician, songwriter, and producer. He was born on June 4, 1986, in Ndola, Zambia. He is known for his unique blend of gospel, reggae, and R&B music.

Pompi started his music career in 2011 with the release of his debut album, "Mizu." The album was a huge success, and it earned him several awards, including the Best Gospel Album at the 2012 Zambia Music Awards. Since then, he has released several other albums, including "Broken English," "Become," and "Wilisa."

Apart from his music career, Pompi is also known for his philanthropic work. He founded a non-profit organization called the "Dreams Workshop," which provides mentorship and training to young people in Zambia.
