Poolwo was a social networking website launched by Indian company Poolvo IT Solutions[2].
Overview
Its features included blogs, radio streaming, polls, job search, publishing articles and a news aggregation service, as well as more traditional social networking capabilities. The international website, created by an Indian company, was available in most countries, and had English as one of the language choices. Because it was relatively new, the population of Poolwo was still growing.
History
It was launched by Shashi Tharoor, the Indian Minister of Human Resources, on 7 January 2014.[3]
