Potential Studios LLP is a film production company based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. It was established by S. R. Prakash Babu, S. R. Prabu, P. Gopinath, and R. Thangaprabaharan. The studio has been involved in producing numerous successful films within the Indian film industry.

History

Potential Studios LLP made its entry into the film industry with the release of Maya in 2015, directed by Ashwin Saravanan.[1] The film was lauded for its storyline and performances, earning several awards, including Best Lead Role Female at the IIFA Utsavam Awards 2015 and the K. Balachander Award for Best Female Actor at the Chennai International Film Festival in 2016.

Following the success of Maya, Potential Studios LLP went on to produce Maanagaram in 2017, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.[2] The film was appreciated for its unique narrative and performances, winning accolades such as the Best Comedian - Male at the Ananda Vikatan Cinema Awards in 2018 and Best Comedian at the Norway Tamil Film Festival Awards in the same year. Potential Studios LLP continues to be an active producer in Indian cinema.
