The album was recorded at Westbeach Recorders and Artison Studios in Hollywood, California in June of 1996 and mastered at Oasis Mastering.[2]

The songs "Boy Toy Days" and "I Want My Hat Back" appeared in the 2000 PlayStation 2 video game Surfing H3O.
