Powerhouse Company
Powerhouse Company is an international architectural firm, founded in 2005. With offices in Rotterdam, Munich, and Oslo, projects range from private villas to public buildings.
Projects
The first completed building was Villa 1 in the Netherlands (2007), soon followed by other private housing projects in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland. Public buildings differ in scale, from a broadcast center in Çanakkale, Turkey (Çanakkale Antenna Tower) to a technology museum in Chengdu, China (Loop of Wisdom). Powerhouse Company's latest projects include Jakoba Mulderhuis, an educational building for Hogeschool van Amsterdam in Amsterdam as well as the Floating Office Rotterdam, world's largest floating office building – housing the headquarters of the Global Center on Adaptation (GCA).
