Promate Generators, Philippines[edit]

Promate Generators is a wholly owned Philippine brand of generators and power stations of Powertech Asia Pacific, Inc. headquartered in Pasig City, Metro Manila, Philippines. Its line of products caters to

residential, commercial, and industrial customers in Metro Manila, Tarlac, Cebu, Iloilo, Davao, and other areas within the Philippines.

History[edit]

Powertech Asia Pacific, Inc. was founded by David Nouvelot in 2005. In 2008, together with a new shareholder, Roberto Encarnacion, they acquired and absorbed the Philippines business of Powermate Asia Pacific and started their full operation and officially registering their own brand, Promate.


Promate expanded its offerings to stationary diesel generators in 2010, and in 2011, the company developed industrial open frame diesel generators and the Promate Home line to further expand the company's range of products.

The PowerStation concept was born in 2015 with the launch of the Promate 240 for indoor power back-up for consumers. And by the end of 2018, the brand launched two new Powerstation products, the Promate 120 and Promate 100.


In 2016, Promate expanded their distribution network digitally through several channels via their partner, Promate Store. By June 2017, Promate had over 75 distributors and 45 service centers nationwide.

Recognition and Awards[edit]

Promate received a nomination for Best Environmental Practice and Communications Awards by CCI France Philippines in 2018 and was recognized by SuperBrands from April 2018 to April 2020.
