Pranav Yadav

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Pranav Yadav is an entrepreneur. He is the founder and Global CEO of Neuro-Insight US, a neuro-analytics company.[1]

Early life and education

Pranav Yadav was born in Faridabad, near New Delhi, India.[2] He was awarded the SIA Youth Scholarship to study at Victoria Junior College in Singapore[3] and the Starr Scholarship, described by Forbes as a full scholarship given to six students from Asia, to attend Carleton College, where he studied Mathematics, Physics, and Economics and graduated magna cum laude.[4][5]

Career

Yadav began his career at Goldman Sachs in New York, working in the firm's Structured Equity Solutions group, now known as the Capital Solutions Group.[6] He left Goldman Sachs in 2009 and joined ReD Associates, a Danish innovation strategy consulting firm.[6]

In 2010, Yadav was introduced to Dr. Richard Silberstein, originator of the Steady State Topography (SST) brain-imaging technique, first described in 1990 and later applied to studies of memory, attention, and conditions including ADHD.[7][8] Yadav co-founded the U.S. business with Richard Silberstein, and later went on to become Global CEO of the company in 2022.[6][9] The company is chaired by WPP veteran John Zweig.[6][10] The company operates offices in New York, London, and Melbourne.[11]

Neuro-Insight's research was used in nine of 55 Super Bowl commercials in 2019, according to Forbes.[12] The Drum reported that, under Yadav, the company has worked with clients including Nestlé, Unilever, Google, and Diageo.[13]

According to a study published by Neuro-Insight, the company found an 86% correlation between its long-term memory metrics and independent marketing-mix-modeling effectiveness data across 15 ad campaigns and 900 participants.[14]

Views

Yadav has described his professional outlook as centered on understanding the processes that shape human decision-making before they enter conscious awareness. He has argued that people are often struggle to fully explain the forces underlying their own choices, and that fields such as advertising have traditionally relied too heavily on conscious, after-the-fact accounts of behavior rather than directly measuring the subconscious processes involved.[15]

He has also argued that advances in neuroscience and neuro-analytics have implications beyond marketing, including for how human intelligence and decision-making may be modeled and incorporated into future technologies.[15]

Recognition

Yadav was named to Forbes' 30 Under 30 list (Marketing & Advertising, 2014) and later to its All-Star Alumni list.[16] He was one of the American Marketing Association's 2019 "4 Under 40" honorees, profiled at length by AMA's Marketing News as "The Optimist."[15] The Advertising Club of New York named him Startup category winner of its 2019 Ad People of the Year awards.[17] He has also been named to Ad Age's 40 Under 40 list and Adweek's Young Influentials list.[18][19]
