Prasun Chatterjee
Prasun Chatterjee, born to Pradyot Chatterjee and Archana Chatterjee on 30 September 1978, at Digha village near the Semi-town of Bolpur in West Bengal, did his early schooling at Bolpur High School, Birbhum. He joined Bankura Sammilani Medical College, Calcutta University from where he completed his MBBS in 2004 followed by one year training in Psychiatry at Bankura Sammilani Medical College and 2 years Training in Thoracic Medicine from R. G. Kar Medical College and Hospital, Kolkata. After pursuing MD in Geriatric Medicine from Madras Medical College, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, Chatterjee joined as a senior resident in the newly constituted Geriatric Medicine department at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. Presently he is working as an Assistant Professor in the same department since 2014. Chatterjee is married to Punam Chatterjee and the couple has two children (Son-Pratik and Daughter- Praapti). The family lives in New Delhi.
