Pray, Inc. is a social impact company and developer of the faith-based social media app Pray.com.[3][4][5] People use Pray.com to share prayers and raise donations for faith-based communities and causes. [6][7]
Overview
Pray was founded in 2016.[1] Its mobile application is a faith-based content platform and social network for users to exchange prayer requests and donate money to charitable and religious organizations. As of 2019, Pray lists more than 200,000 faith organizations and non-profits for users to join on its platform with over 30 Million prayers shared.[8]
Investment
In June 2017, Pray raised $2 million in seed funding led by Science Inc..[9][10] Other seed investors included Greylock Partners and Spark Capital.[11][12] Shortly after the seed round in 2017, Pray was named one of America’s Happiest Organizations by TinyPulse.[13] In June 2018, Pray raised $14 million through a Series A round of venture capital funding led by TPG Capital and including Science Inc. and Greylock Partners.[14][15]
