Preah Neang Sikhara Mahadevi (Thai: พระนางสิขระเทวี, Khmer: សង្ខរទេវី, សុករទេវី, សិខរទេវី) is the wife of Khun Pha Moeung, who is inscribed in history in the name of Wat Srey Chhum Kol II.

Princess Sikhara Mahadevi was the daughter of Jayavarman VII (or Indravarman II)[1] of the Khmer kingdom of the Bayon period.[2] She later fell in love with Khun Pha Moeung, Jayavarman VII (or Indravarman II) bestowed on the Princess Sikhara Devi, Preah Khan Chey Srey (continuing to be one of the five most important regalias in the ancient tradition) and the Buddha statue named Maha Buddha Dharmaraja (currently located in Wat Trai Phum, Phetchabun City, Phetchabun Province). Phetchabun praises her as the goddess of the province.[3]

Khmer Heroines[edit]

She is a heroine in the mythology of the popular ancient history of the people of Phetchabun[4] and she is believed to be a spiritual spirit in Thai folk religion.
