Price is a populated place situated in Pinal County, Arizona, United States.[2] A post office under this name existed from 1909 until 1923. There were two people whose last name was Price associated with this location at the time it was named: William Price and B.S. Price. The former was a merchant in nearby Florence, who supplied material for the contractors building the railroad, while the latter was an employee of those contractors. This location was named for one of these two individuals. It has an estimated elevation of 1,581 feet (482 m) above sea level.[1]
