Prince Barreto
Ismir Odimel Ozuna, (Born January 11, 1996, stage name Prince Barreto “El Negrito De La Boina”.[1]) is a dominican singer-songwriter. The best-known song in his repertoire is “La Cuenta[2]”, which gave him the opportunity to gain relevance in media. This song helped him participate in the Presidente Studios[3] talent contest, where he was one of the 20 finalists out of a total of 100 participants.

Musical concept and origin of the name
Prince Barreto is a salsa singer and songwriter, although he can also perform other rhythms such as merengue, Cuban son, montuno, bolero and Cha-cha-chá. The name “Prince Barreto”, alludes to the American percussionist Ray Barretto. While “El Negrito De La Boina”, is due to the constant use of Kangol brand berets, specifically model 504[4][5]
