Mukose Umar (born 1 December 1999) is a Ugandan singer, songwriter and musician, better known by his stage name Prince Omar.

Music career[edit]

Prince Omar started his music career in 2018 with his first song "Biliroliro" a song that won hearts of many Ugandans hence being on every playlist in clubs, radios, TV and homes.[1] Prince Omar has collaborated with numerous artists including John Blaq, Daddy Andre with "Kyoyoya" in 2018,[2][3][4] "Bikini" song featuring Nigerian artist Skales.[5][6] “Sing For Me" featuring Lydia Jazmine[7] a song which hitted a million views on YouTube within its first year. On 15 August 2019 at La Paroni's Bar in Kampala, Prince Omar had his first video premier of his song "Timaya" and was a success.[8]

Education[edit]

Prince Omar attended Sir Apollo Kagwa Primary School for (PLE) joined secondary school studies at Kibuli Secondary School, Kawempe Muslim, Greenhill Academy and currently studying a bachelor's degree at Great Lakes College in Toronto Canada.[11]

Family background[edit]

Prince Omar grew up in Namasuba, a suburb of Kampala City.[12]
