Princess Alexandra of Hohenlohe-Langenburg[1] (2 April 1901 – 26 October 1963), born Princess Alexandra Beatrice Leopoldine, was a great-granddaughter of Queen Victoria. She was the second daughter of Princess Alexandra of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha and Ernst II, Prince of Hohenlohe-Langenburg. Her mother was a daughter of Alfred Duke of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, who was a son of Queen Victoria. She died in her hometown in 1963.[citation needed]

Biography[edit]

She was born at Vaihingen an der Enz, Ludwigsburg, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. She had 4 siblings and one brother died in infancy and being brother of Gottfried, Prince of Hohenlohe-Langenburg.[citation needed]

Later life and death[edit]

She died on 26 October 1963, aged 63. Her cause of death was unclear. She never married.[citation needed]
