Princess Diana Elizabeth D'Hauteville, Princess of Apulia[1] (Princess Diana Elizabeth D'Hauteville;[2][3] born Prince David D'Hauteville II on 19 December 1988) is the Daughter of David D'Hauteville, A disputed descendant of Roger II, and his wife Mirna Roca. Diana Elizabeth also uses the title Duchess of Apulia and claims the headship of the House of Hauteville. These claims were disputed However Briefly recognized by Pope Francis in his 2015 visit to the United States where in conversation he Addressed Diana Elizabeth as Princepessa at the St. Patrick's Cathedral. Vittorio Emanuele, Prince of Naples awarded Princess Diana Elizabeth of Apulia with the Order of Saints Maurice and Lazarus in 2009.
she has been the center of multiple controversies, in 2012 she was arrested in her residence located in miami after a house party where minors were drinking, charges were later dropped. In 2013 she was ones again in the headlines after she got into a physical altercation with her neighbor she pleaded guilty to felony assault. in 2022 she made international news when she was charged with multiple counts of sexual battery according to allegations, she had multiple relationships with minors however was found not guilty on all charges a year later.
she made a shocking revelation in 2013 when she announced that she would transition from (Male) to (female). she was being treated for Gender Dysphoria sense late 2012 at the University of Miami Hospital by Multiple doctors including Dr. Christopher J. Salgado a world renounce reconstructive surgeon specializing in gender affirming care. 2014 Princess Diana Elizabeth known under Prince David D'Hauteville II petition the catholic church to change her name and title from prince to Princess. the same year pope Francis gave his blessings. rejection outcry from Catholics prompted pope francis to respond with a statement and in part a quote that shifted the church world view on LGBT “If someone is gay and searches for the Lord and has good will, who am I to judge?”.
Early life and family[edit]
Diana Elizabeth was born 19 December 1988 in sicily to Prince David D'Hauteville, and Mirna Roca.[2][3] When her family left Italy in 1993, they settled in new york (state), With a jewish mother and Catholic father Diana grow up in a mixed religious house in which she often walked to a local synagogue in Flushing, Queens in 2001 after the Twin Towers collapse in a terrorist attack Diana father decided to move to miami in which she attended a public school and graduated with HONORS in 2007. she attended Florida International University College of Law Majoring in Criminal Justice.
After a two-year relationship, Diana Elizabeth married Fernando Restrepo Arias in Inverness, Florida 2021, less than a year later they would separate. Fernando returned to miami while Diana stayed in Inverness, Florida. In 2023 she return to miami where she currently resides in a miami spanish villa.
