Princess Patience Akpabio is a Nigerian gospel singer, a gospel minister and the General Overseer of The City of Praise Worldwide Prophetic Ministries, a worship center located in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. The ministry was dedicated on March 28th, 2019. [1] Pat Akpabio is a Preacher, Prophetess, Life Coach, Motivational Speaker, Business Entrepreneur, Author, and Teacher. During the Coronavirus pandemic, she released a song titled "We Are Gonna Be Alright". The song became a hit and gathered thousands of views on Youtube.[2] [3]

Biography

Early life

Princess Pat Akpabio hails from Akwa Ibom State, Southern Nigeria, her father was Late Chief C. B. Akpan and was the CEO of C.B and Sons Limited, a Cocoa export merchant company in Ikom, Cross River State, Southern Nigeria. She is the only child to her mother and the fifth to her father who had other children from another woman.[4]

Education

She obtained her first degree in 2007 from Georgia State University, Georgia, United States, where she studied Investment and Corporate Finance. Princess Pat Akpabio was awarded in 2019 with an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity by Prowess University, Delaware, United States.

Marital and Social Life

Princess Pat Akpabio is married to Sir Ibanga Akpabio who is the younger brother to Godswill Akpabio. They have been married for 15 years and blessed with three children[5]. [6]

The popular Akwa Ibom evangelist got a lot of people talking about her in October, 2017, when she boldly defended her cousin who was involved in an alleged fraud scandal with his ex. Princess Pat Akpabio is popularly given the notorious tag "hot in bed" due to her advice to married couples[7].

Music Career

Pat Akpabio started her professional music career with her debut album "Right On Time" which was released on 28th November 2009, she went ahead to record three more albums. In 2013, she signed a mega-deal with a US-based music company, TATE MUSIC GROUP. The deal meant the company would distribute her third album within America. Her most recent album is titled "I'm Unstoppable[8]" and was released in 2015. The energetic gospel minister also released another inspiring song in 2021 titled 'You no dey fail'. She released another hit song on 1st January 2022, titled 'You made a way'.
