Print Template

Print templates are document presets that help users meets the requirements of printing. Most commonly these contain fonts and formatting to help novices create documents that fit a cooperate design. In a professional context, print templates are designed by Production artists to ensure a graphic is created to the correct specifications. These templates are usually set up with real-world measurements to contain guides, safety-margins and visualizations to ensure a usable layout.

For more sophisticated purposes, a template could also be set up with special color channels or layers to give Graphic designers a better understanding of and more control over the final print and ensure their designs are easy to work with.
