Privateer Space
</nowiki> as they are a record of previous reviews. If you disagree with the outcome, rather discuss. In my opinion the review outcome was correct, as currently notability is not established. Of the four sources, one is the entity, another appears to be a press release. What remains is insufficient to meet the "reliable sources independent of the organization have given significant coverage" criteria. Greenman (talk) 23:35, 14 June 2022 (UTC)}}

Privateer Space was founded in 2021 by Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, Ripcord founder Alex Fielding, and University of Texas at Austin professor Moriba Jah[1]. The company's data technology tracks and predicts the precise locations of objects in Earth orbit, with the intent to provide the tools necessary for safe and effective operations in space.
Launch
In September 2021, the founders announced the launch of Privateer on Twitter and at the Advanced Maui Optical and Space Surveillance Technologies (AMOS) Conference in Maui, Hawaii. However, very few details were offered.[2][3][4] On March 1, 2022, Privateer Space came out of "stealth mode", launching its space debris visualization tool, Wayfinder.[5] [6] CEO Alex Fielding has referenced future plans for the release of a conjunction prediction service called Relssek ("Kessler" backwards, a nod to the Kessler Syndrome made famous by the movie Gravity), as well as intentions to launch Privateer's own satellites for monitoring space objects.[7]
Partnerships
On March 1, 2022, Privateer announced its partnership with OMEGA watches.[8][9] OMEGA's Moonwatch is known for being worn by NASA astronauts throughout the Apollo missions and beyond.
Mission and Space Environmentalism
The company's stated mission is to support a sustainable future in space.[10] Along with a plethora of other commercial space start-ups, they are working to create the infrastructure necessary to manage the exponential growth in satellite launches and accompanying space debris faced by the rapidly expanding space industry.[11]
Chief Scientist Moriba Jah, alongside other experts in the field, made the case in a April 2022 Nature Astronomy article that the protection of the space environment should be prioritized for the sake of astronomy, scientific research, amateur stargazing, and indigenous culture.[12]
