Founder & Director Priya Barjatya Dhingra is a Delhi-based entrepreneur born on 14th March,1974. Her strong interest in the pet industry, coupled with her knowledge about the latest trends on social media has made her a tailored expert to work efficiently & enthusiastically for PetMantraa. Born in a family that has been a pioneer in film-making and distribution in India, it was perhaps natural for her to create a space for herself in Art and Culture field, after a successful professional career. Beginning her career with American Express and Media Organisations like AajTak and Sahara, she moved into managerial roles in DCM Limited and then later to Purearth Infrastructure Limited. She is also the founder and Director of BPM Enterprises Pvt Ltd, under which a website PetMantraa is launched in April 2020. She has rich experience working in the corporate sector for the last 25 years. Her engagement in various activities make her profile versatile.

Her memories of childhood are interspersed with watching film shootings, attending premier screenings and interacting with prominent stars! The love for media, from a young age, a scientific mind- which resulted in a degree in mathematics, has resulted in her work ethic of artistic perfection. She produced and co-directed a short film on the renowned Gurdwara Sri Panja Sahib, which was being showcased in the prestigious Sikh Arts and Film Festival. Born (in March, 1974) in Guwahati, Assam, Priya Barjatya Dhingra (Priya Dhingra) is an Indian Entrepreneur, Artrepreneur and a Social worker. She founded Barjatya Art and Culture Trust. She graduated from Delhi University with a degree in Mathematics. After her graduation in 1995, she joined American Express and then TV Today, Sahara, Samsung as an executive and rose to the managerial positions in DCM in 2000 and later, Purearth.

Before becoming an entrepreneur, she has had a long and eventful career with many reputed organizations. She began her professional journey with American Express, later moving on to media organizations like AajTak and Sahara. She then played managerial roles in DCM and later in Purearth Infrastructure Limited. She is also the founder and Director of BPM Enterprises Pvt Ltd, under which a startup by the name PetMantraa that started in 2020 is now gaining traction.  She has rich experience working in the corporate sector for the last 25 years. Her engagement in various activities makes her profile versatile.

She was born in Guwahati, Assam, India to Mahavir Barjatya, who was heading Film Distribution for Rajshri Pictures Pvt Ltd and Vijay Lakshmi Barjatya, and did her schooling from Guru Nanak National High School, Sarabbhatti, Assam. Later, when she was 8 years old, she moved to Delhi where her father continued heading Film Distribution for Rajshri Pictures Pvt Ltd for Delhi, UP region. Mahavir Barjatya was very good in Public Relations. Priya Barjatya Dhingra inherited good PR skills from her father.

Personal Life[edit]

Priya Barjatya Dhingra is married to Pawan Dhingra and has one son Yatharth Dhingra. Her first venture in the media was a collection of Shabads, which was released under the banner ‘Barjatya Sisters.’ From cutting an album on devotional music, They then went on to produce a short film on the renowned Gurdwara Sri Panja Sahib which was directed by TJ Sandhuu. Priya interviewed various people including Navtej Sarna, Vikramjit Singh Sahney, Manjit Singh, Sirsa, Ranjit Singh ji associated with the holy shrine and lent her voice to this 20-minute documentary. The film was showcased in the prestigious Sikh International Film Festival [7] organized by Sikh Art and Film Foundation, New York.
