Priyanka Chahar Choudhary (born 13 August 1992) is an Indian actress and model who primarily works in Hindi television. She is known for portraying Tejo Singh Virk in Udaariyaan. She also participated in the 16th season of Indian reality show Bigg Boss, and emerged as the 2nd runner-up
Early life[edit]
She was born as Pari Choudhary on 13 August 1992 in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.[1][2] Later she changed her name to Priyanka Choudhary.[3] She comes from an army background. She completed her schooling at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Jaipur.[4]
Career[edit]
Choudhary started her career as a model and hosted several public events.[5] She established her acting career by featuring in several Punjabi music videos.[6]
In 2018, she got her first lead role as Chandni in the Hindi film Lateef To Laden and the same year she did another film Pending Love as Diya.[7] In 2019 she made her television debut with the Hindi television Colors TV show Gathbandhan as Sejal Parekh. And she appeared in the Ullu App web series 3G Gaali Galoch Girls in 2019. She has also acted in the episodic TV serial Savdhaan India – F.I.R in 2020, she played the role of Aachal. And also seen in the Star Plus serial Yeh Hai Chahatein as Keerti Jain.
From 2021 to 2022, she portrayed the leading role of Tejo Sandhu Virk Colors TV's drama romance in Udaariyaan.[8][9] In 2022-2023, she participated in Colors TV's reality show Bigg Boss 16 where she emerged as second runner-up.[10][11]
