Proglix is a B2B e-commerce service platform for small to medium-sized manufacturers to procure domestic and imported raw materials[1]. It is currently headquartered in Indonesia.
Proglix provides procurement services for products such as metals, steels, polymers, and electrical components. Its imported products are sourced from countries such as Japan, China, and Vietnam. Additionally, Proglix offers credit financing to its customers.
History
Proglix, legally established in Indonesia as PT. Sinari Generasi Indonesia, was founded by entrepreneurs Wynn Wijaya and Wendy Wijaya[2] in August 2022. It opened its first headquarters in Tangerang, Indonesia. Its initial focus is on procuring finished goods for the construction industry, such as corrugated steel roofing, composite metal decks, metal roof battens, c-channels, structural hollow sections, wire mesh, electrical building wires, and bare conductor wires. It received its initial funding from local Indonesian investors.[3]
In January 2023, Proglix became the only Indonesian startup selected out of over 19,600 global applicants to join Y Combinator's Winter 2023 batch[4], a Silicon Valley-based startup accelerator program. By this time, Proglix had shifted its focus to procuring industrial raw materials such as steel coils and steel pipes. It also added structural steel products such as h-beams and angle bars, as well as flat products such as steel plates, to its line of finished goods.
Global outreach became evident in April 2023 as Proglix expanded its operations by establishing a new headquarters in Singapore, under the name Proglix Commerce Pte. Ltd.[5]
By October 2023, Proglix received further investment from United States,[6] and Singaporean[7] investors.
