The Program on Forests (PROFOR) is multi-donor partnership on forests and poverty reduction led by the World Bank.
PROFOR has released several studies on forests and livelihoods:
- Securing Forest Tenure Rights for Rural Development: Lessons from Six Countries in Latin America[1][2]
- Harnessing the Potential of Private Sector Engagement in Productive Forests for Green Growth[3]
The program is funding the implementation of a project in Jamaica “assessing the economic valuation of coastal protection services provided by mangroves.”[4]
