Progression of Australia association football caps record

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

This is a progressive list of association footballers who have held or co-held the record for international caps for the Australia national soccer team, beginning with Alex Gibb, William Maunder and George Cartwright, the three players to played in Australia first matches in the 1920s. The record is held by Mark Schwarzer with 109 caps. Schwarzer and Tim Cahill are the only players to have appeared 100 or more times for Australia, meaning that they are the only two Australian members of the FIFA Century Club.

This list contains records from only "A" internationals, as recognised by Football Federation Australia. Using this data, the following records can be retrospectively produced.[1]
