Project 18 class destroyers (also known as Next Generation Destroyers) is a class of next generation stealth guided missile destroyers planned for the Indian Navy. [3][4][not in citation given]
It will be larger than the previous ships and will feature enhanced stealth characteristics. It is among the new-generation destroyers which feature advanced weaponry with advanced technology.[citation needed]
Design
The destroyers will have a displacement of more than 10,000 tons and will be equipped with integrated electric propulsion.[citation needed] It might be equipped with electromagnetic railgun and ship-mounted laser weapons.[citation needed] The class might be fitted with surface to air missiles and hypersonic cruise missiles.[5][6][not in citation given]
