Michael Yardney's Property Update is an Australian property blog founded in 2001, based at Brighton, Victoria, which is dedicated to commentary, articles, advices and tips on property investment and personal finance. It publishes tips and strategies from Australia’s leading experts in the fields of property, finance, tax, money, wealth creation and success. The website publishes 8 articles a day, more then 1.1 million readers have subscribed to the blog,[2] and it attracts an audience of nearly 250,000 visitors per month.
Founding[edit]
The owner of the blog is Metropole Education Services Pty Ltd - part of the national Metropole Property Group. Property Update was created by Michael Yardney, a director of Metropole Property Investment Strategists and an author of 8 books where he questions traditional finance advice with his ideas on property investment, personal finance and wealth creation.[3][4]
