Pseudamphicyon is a member of the extinct family Amphicyonidae of terrestrial carnivores belonging to the suborder Caniformia.[1]
Pseudamphicyon was named by Schlosser in 1887 and was assigned to Amphicyonidae by Carroll (1988).
