DIEK Katerinis (Greek: ΔΙΕΚ Κατερίνης; formally Institute of Vocational Training of Katerini (DIEKK, In Greek: Ινστιτούτο Επαγγελματικής Κατάρτισης Κατερίνης),[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10] also known as DIEK Katerini or IEK Katerinis, is a public state-run educational post-secondary school in Katerini, Greece, part of the Greece Education System.

DIEK Katerinis is located in Katerini at the province of Pieria in the area of National Stadium, opposite the First Athletic Centre of Municipality of Katerini. It is co-housed in the urban building of the day secondary education school Fifth General Lyceum (GEL) of Katerini (5ο Γενικό Λύκειο Κατερίνης)[11][12][13][14] using for its lecture classes, attached to the International Hellenic University (IHU) Department of Supply Chain Management, 1100 meters from the city centre, 2000 meters from the Town Hall. It is supervised by the General Secretariat for Vocational Education, Training, Life-long Learning and Youth (GGEEKDBM&N)[15] of the Ministry of Education.

With the law 4763/2020 Government Gazette 254 A’ 21/12/2020 the IEK type of school is classified to formal education grants to its graduates a Diploma of Vocational Education and Training at HQF level 5,[16] after they pass successfully National Accreditation Examinations held at examination centers of the National Organization for the Certification of Qualifications and Vocational Guidance (EOPPEP).[17] IEK graduates after successful specific annual entrance examinations allows to them admission into the higher education to an undergraduate programme relevant to their IEK programme specialty. It is an afternoon school which operates from 15:00 to 21:00 operates with the national education system (curriculum). For its laboratory classes DIEK Katerinis borrows laboratories owned and sponsored by organizations and private companies such as Ecclesiastical Nursing Home (Εκκλησιαστικό Γηροκομείο)[18][19][20][21][22] of the Diocese of Metropolis of Kitros, Katerini and Platamonas[23] in the suburb of Prosilio near the Ecclesiastical Guesthouse and the former Second Chance Seminary School of Katerini[24][25][26] of the Ministry of Education, and also other premises.
