Pummel Party is a 4-8 online and local multiplayer or computer-controlled characters (called "CPUs") party game. Pummel friends or AI using a wide array of absurd items in the board game mode and compete to encourage friendships in the unique collection of minigames. As we know, Pummel Party board game can be played as local or online, single player or multiplayer. The goal of this game is to reach the amount of trophies that are set. In addition, there are some items to make this game have more fun. It was released in Steam (service) for Microsoft Windows on 18 September 2018. The games are currently developed and published by Rebuilt games.

The Pummel Party game received unpopular reception in the beginning, but in 2020, the reception has become favorable and sales rise substantially. Pummel Party surpassed 653 players on Steam by the end of its sixth month, and 7,903 players on Steam within its first 2 years. In 2021, it had approximately 4,000 players on Steam (service).

Background

The concept of Pummel Party gameplay is specially designed for local and online multiplayer. The game consists of simple fun gameplay and funny minigames. In those minigames, we must collect as many scores as possible (depending on a level) and pummel our opponents using a wide variety of items like smash, shot, and blow up your friends with various absurd items. The game features many different game modes in which players must complete different objectives such as Snowy Spin, Sandy Search, or Explosive Exchange are just a few of the minigames available in Pummel Party. Even though the gameplay is designed for multiplayer, the game features full bot integration which allows practicing every game mode with any number of players. Furthermore, about graphics, there are colorful, 3D graphics and simple and cartoonish 3D graphics. Pummel Party has two developers based in New South Wales, Australia. Pummel Party is the first game for Rebuilt games.

Pummel Party gameplay is a game designed for local and online multiplayer to enjoy with the party, the player also can play single player to play and practice with the bot. The Pummel Party game is a board game that consists of many funny minigames. In minigames, we have to collect trophies and scores as possible and take the scores to unlock the chest on map and you will get a trophy with a player who can collect the first 4 trophies so the game will end, meanwhile variety items like explosive, guns, and ridiculous weapons is available to use in the game that leads to many funny moments.

Minigame mode

There’s a lot kind of minigames in Pummel Party. Pummel Party contains exciting gameplays like minigames. Each minigame is simple to play and has different mechanics of gameplays in each minigames with various gameplay styles is really important for a party game. This game is just like the board game half of Pummel Party, minigames will have you and your friend laughter and got many funny moments. The objective of minigames is to collect the key as much as possible and tend to be good at different types of minigames, the keys that we got we have to exchange in board map.

	Acidic Atoll	The player must survive in a region surrounded by a bomb that can detonate the ground at any time, so that you can throw the bomb to reduce the area of other players and win the game.
	Altitude Attack	The player will take on the role of a helicopter and must eliminate other aircraft in order to win.
	Animal Arithmetic	The player has to count the indicated animal combos as they pass across the screen.
	Barn Brawl	The player has to grab a shotgun and shoot to kill other players, whoever got the highest kill will win this game.
	Bouncing Balls	The player controls their shield into the correct position to rebound the incoming balls. If a ball goes into a players goal the last player who hit the ball scores a point.
	Breaking Blocks	The player should control a character try not to fall into the lava as the platform you are standing on.
	Bullet Barrage	The player should dodge the incoming projectiles bullet. The player who can survive the longest or the player with the most lives after 2 minutes will win this game.
	Cannon Circle	The player should dodge the cannon balls coming from outside the circle, the last player alive will win.
	Crown Capture	The player who can hold the crown for the longest time will win this game.
	Daring Dogfight	The player will play as an aircraft and shoot other players out of the air to gain points, player with the highest score at the end wins.
	Elemental Escalation	The player should fill the state with your element by moving around and activating the orange power crystals, gain points ever second based on the amount of area occupied by your element. The player with the most points at the end will win.
	Explosive Exchange	The player should pass the bomb to one of his enemies before it explodes! The last one standing will win.
	Gift Grab	The player should attempt to catch the valuable gifts as they come along the conveyor belt but make sure not to accidentally catch the coal! The player who have the most valuable gift will win this game.
	Grifting Gifts	The player should collect as many presents as you can and bring them back to your tree. Steal other players presents once you can't find any others.
	Laser Leap	The player has to jump over the lasers at your feet, the last standing will win this game.
	Magma & Mages	The player should use the magic wand to shoot fireballs to knock your enemies off. The last person standing wins this game.
	Miniature Motors	The player should drive your miniature car around the house while dodging obstacles first to finish will win this game.
	Morphing Maze	The player should collect the most keys while the maze constantly changes and knock out other players to slow their progress.
	Mortar Mayhem	The player has to memorize the arrows shown each round and move to dodge the mortar explosions, the last player alive will win this game.
	Mystery Maze	The player has to run over the invisible platforms and be the first to the goal to win this game.
	Rockin Rhythm	The player should hit the indicated buttons as they fly over the marked circle. Hit as many buttons in a row to earn a combo, the largest combo you obtain will give you a score bonus.
	Rotor Race	The player should race your plane through the narrow canyons, the player who is first to the goal will win this game.
	Rusty Racers	The player should drive your rusty vehicle around the track but make sure not to fall off the first person to finish 3 laps is the winner.
	Sandy Search	The player has to dig in all directions using your sand vacuum to be the first to find the hidden treasure.
	Searing Spotlights	The player should keep track of your player in the dark while dodging the searing spotlights, the last player standing will wins.
	Sidestep Slope	The player has to dodge the incoming vehicles as you move up the slope, the player who is first to the goal will win this game.
	Slippery Sprint	The player should run and jump over ice platforms towards the goal be the first person at the end to win.
	Snowy Spin	The player has to spin your way to victory by knocking other players off the edge of this slippery platform into the bleak abyss. The order players die determines points per round the player with the most points after 3 rounds win.
	Sorcerers Sprint	The player has to fly through this treacherous course and avoid the obstacle. Fly through the magic rings to gain points. The player with the most points wins.
	Speedy Sabers	The player should kill as many other players as possible before the time runs out!
	Spooky Spikes	The player should dodge the spikes by jumping or ducking to be the first player for win the game.
	Strategic Shockwave	The player has to place bombs to destroy obstacles and blow up your enemies. Collect powerups to increase the effectiveness of your bombs.
	Swift Shooters	The player has to shoot the targets that pop up as fast as possible but make sure you don't shoot the bomb targets otherwise you will explode.
	Temporal Trails	The player has to ride your Light Board to victory. Draw out a trail to trap your enemies but don't trap yourself. The last one standing wins.
	Thunderous Trench	One player is the lightning rod, which means lightning will periodically strike them destroying the floor revealing spikes below. If the player with the lightning kills everybody else they win.
	Traffic Theft	The player should grab as much loot as you can, but don't get too greedy the more you grab the slower you move. Gain 1 point for each cash pile and 2 points for each pile of gold you bring back to your getaway truck.
	Tunneling Tanks	The player should use your tanks turret to destroy the terrain below your enemies tank and force them into the water below. The last player to hit the water wins.
	Word Wars	As words appear above your head spell them out by pressing the buttons below your feet. Punch other players to step them from spelling the word before you.
	Sharky Swim	One player is the shark the rest are prey, the prey must hide among the fakes while activating five beacons to escape. The shark must find the real prey among the fakes before time is up.
	Motor Murder	The player has to shoot the other players before they shoot you, collect powerups to increase the power of your shots, the player with the most kills at the end wins.
	Pack And Pile	The player should use precise timing to place your boxes in a pile, first player to the top wins.
	Batty Batters	The player has to hit the falling objects with precise timing to gain points.
	Billiard Battle	The player has to shoot yourself around the table knocking the other balls into the pockets while whacking the other players out of your way. The player who sinks the most balls wins.
	Rolly Ragdolls	The player should roll your way to victory by navigating past the many obstacles in your way, but don't fall too far behind or you will end up dead. The player who makes it the furthest wins.
	Bounding Blocks	The player should capture blocks by stepping on them! Other players can't step on your territory so maneuver around them to capture the largest area you can, the player with the most territory at the end wins.
	Selfish Stride	The player has to choose to be selfish or not, select a bridge discretely because if more than one player chooses the same bridge it will collapse and you get nothing.
	Fractured Faces	The player should rearrange the puzzle back into its original form by moving and rotating each piece, the first player to finish will win this game.
	Memory Menu	The player should memorize the displayed ingredients, once you have collected them all take them to the cooking pot and gain points.

Board Game mode have many different things in each map, it’s have their unique like an addition something on that map. Board Game mode allows you to run through the map and race towards goals, using items to interrupt players and NPCs in your path. In game, you play with a bot or practice with AI. It’s an option of games to add AI when player is not enough. The rebuilt game’s made a balance to their AI and sometimes it’s look over power so players can practice with them. Judging a book by its cover, Pummel Party is similar to any party/board game, but it has some twists that make it more engaging and tense. Each player has a health bar, and is given weapons to dispatch the other players. If one runs out of health, they're kicked back to a spawn point, losing their progress to the current objective on the playing field. This added combat contributes to the "running friendship" part of this kind of title and is ripe for plenty of laughs. After a game is finished, the objectives (goblets or trophies) are kept with the player to spend on cosmetics. Even if you don’t win though, there’s already a wide variety to choose from to deck out your character. Pummel Party supports up to 8 simultaneous players and features Remote Play Together support.

• Gideon's Gaming: 8.5/10 from Gideon's Gaming, they really have been enjoying this game. They are huge fans of Mario Party games so this game is almost as good but with the ability to play online. This is the main reason why they keep coming back to this game, even more so over Super Mario Party. The minigames are fun but not that much variety compared to any other Mario Party game. They could definitely use more patterns in some of the minigames as well. After they play Pummel Party for a while they said that you will naturally learn all of them and it becomes a bit repetitive. The board play aspect of the game is probably my favorite part about the game. There are only 4 boards as of now and they're all really fun to play but I would like to see them add more boards in the future. They really like the ability to combat with your opponents by collecting all the items and using them against others. Overall this game is a lot of fun to play has a lot of potentials to be the better party game over Mario Party but only if they keep adding content to the game.
