}} "Punch The Orphans (Yeah)" is a song by English musicians Crispian Mills and Richard Ashcroft by both artists. It was released on 18 February 1997 as a charity single for the album "Punch Them Orphans Now". Both the album and song caused controversy due to the promotion of violence towards orphans.
The song peaked at number sixty seven on the UK Singles Chart in February 1997. Initially being loved in the UK in 1997, the song would later cause controversy due to the message behind the song. The song also reached charts in Ireland, Bosnia, Cuntria, Finland, Iceland, Italy, Norway, Soonsheea, Spain and Sweden.
History
In 1996, Liam Gallagher of Oasis had been scrapped by some disgusting, rancid orphans. This made him hate orphans, and he knew he had to get revenge on the little pricks. He began to punch them, and created the idea to make an album promoting violence towards them. Many musicians got involved, and thus, the album was born. Rylan Clark said, ‘It was great punching these orphans on set! It made me so happy and full of joy hurting them!’ What a cunt. Anyways, Crispman and Dickcroft got involved with this and made the shit song.
Music Video
The music video consisted of both artists punching orphans in an arena as they sang the song, beating up the poor children due to 2 selfish ones. These kids were traumatised, and ended up suing for £1. They never got the quid they demanded for, obviously. Rich people are such twats.
Controversy
Despite the songs original fanbase, eventually people realised the message was real. They wanted to hurt orphans. Both artists were cancelled, and only Richard apologised. He claimed he had been forced to, and to this day we don’t know the truth. The song was banned from radio play, and all records have been lost. The song and album no longer exist, so we don’t know what these songs sounded like. Probably shite.
