Punit B. Juneja, is an Advocate practicing at Gujarat High Court and is a Politician with Aam Aadmi Party Gujarat. He is presently legal counsel of Aam Aadmi Party Gujarat State Unit and also State Spokesperson[1] of Aam Aadmi Party Gujarat.

He is practicing as Advocate at Gujarat High court since 2005 and is part of AAP Gujarat since 2020. Inspired by the vision of Arvind Kejriwal, he joined Aam Admi Party Gujarat and has dedicated himself to Politics of change. He believes that this nation can progress only when education, health care, safety and security in this nation are improved.

He is heading a firm named Juneja Legal [2] which is presently working in the field of Litigation Civil, Criminal, Constitutional, Commercial, Corporate and Banking Laws.

Birth and Childhood

Punit Juneja was born and brought up in a Punjabi (Arora) Family at Ahmedabad. His family migrated from Amritsar to Ahmedabad in 1965 and set up a Textile business in Ahmedabad. His father and his uncles continued doing Business in Ahmedabad and set up power loom units. Thus he grew up in a business family but he wanted to do something different and therefore preferred law as a field and after doing his B.Com completed his LL.B from Sir L A Shah Law College Ahmedabad.

Career

Punit started practicing in Gujarat High Court and did various projects of Public importance and also worked in the field of Right to Information Act and volunteered in legal clinic and RTI Helpline[3] run by Mahiti Adhikar Gujarat Pahel for propagation of Right to Information Act. Punit also conducted many matters of public importance in the Gujarat High Court. He also helped the stranded Indian Citizens in Nigeria[4] return during Covid19 Lock Down by making representations to various government authorities on behalf of them.

Public Life

Punit Juneja is a Spokesperson of Aam Aadmi Party[1] and has been dedicatedly working for growth and expansion of the Party in State of Gujarat. He is also elected as Committee Member in Shree Punjabi Seva Samaj, a small association of Punjabi Families living in Ahmedabad. He has been active in Bar Association and working in the interests of the Advocate community.
