Punyavati is a Kannada TV series broadcast on Colors Kannada channel. Punyavathi is a women-centric drama series that premiered on January 2nd, 2023. Punyavathi revolves around the story of Padmini and Poorvi, two sisters from the Mandya district of Karnataka. Padmini adores dancing but her father, Bhujanga, is against dance and singing. Nevertheless, Padmini makes it to the culmination of a dance reality show on the day of her marriage muhurta. Eventually, Poorvi takes Padmini's place and weds Nandan without anyone acknowledging it. How will this puzzle disentangle and transform everyone's lives? How will Nandan respond to comprehending the truth? Will Nandan fall for Poorvi or will he choose Padmini?
Plot
Padmini is a carefree girl who wishes to earn fame through her dancing skills. However, her strict father, Bhujanga, has a different future planned for her. Will Padmini let go of her dreams to fulfil her father's? Poorvi's efforts go in vain as Bhujanga brings Ammaji and her family home. While Bhujanga is unaware of Padmini's absence, he asks Poorvi to bring Padmini to meet Ammaji. While Padmini and Nandan's marriage is fixed, Nandan notices Padmini in a dance competition and gets angry. After sorting out the plot, they cherish their pre-wedding days. As soon as Padmini realizes her father's hard work and loans for her getting married, she immediately drops the idea of marrying Nandan and reasons with him.
