Purusha Pretham is a 2023 Indian Malayalam drama film directed by Krishand R K and starring Prasanth Alexander and Darshana Rajendran.[1]Produced under the banner of Mankind Cinemas, Einstin Media and Symmetry cinema. The film premiered on SonyLIV on 24 March 2023.[2][3]
The film is based on the original story of Manu Thodupuzha[4]

The Production company announced the film title and crew on 26 December 2022[5].later the First Glimpse [6] and trailer of the film released [7]. The film was scheduled and primer in SonyLIV 24 March 2023[8][9]

Reception
A critic from The Hindu wrote that "The humorous narrative of ‘Purusha Pretham’ packs a punch as it holds a mirror to the discrimination and red-tapism in the hierarchical police force and in society at large".[11] A critic from The Times of India wrote that "A surprising and refreshing movie, Purusha Pretham, shows the humour in the grim lives of people in various sections of society and in terrible situations in life".[12] A critic from The Indian Express wrote that "If Aavasavyuham was an arbit documentation of an amphibian hunt, Purusha Pretham, starring Darshana Rajendran and Prasanth Alexander, is an arbit documentation of a comedy of errors".[13][14][15][16][17][18]
