Pushpender Kaushik hails from Himachal Pradesh, India. He pursued his Master of Arts (M.A.) in English from Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla, followed by an M.Phil. in English Literature from Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa, where he focused on a values-based sociological critique of Indian-English fiction. As of 2025, he is pursuing a Ph.D. in English Literature from Himachal Pradesh University.
