Puthukkulangara Bhagavathi Temple ( alternatively Puthukkulangara devi temple ) is a hindu temple situated in kakkazhom , Ambalapuzha of alappuzha district of kerala, India.The temple is dedicated to goddess Bhadrakali, a form of kali worshipped in kerala. The goddess is also known by the names Aadiparashakthi, Lakshmi, Puthukkulangara Amma ( meaning the Mother of Puthukkulangara).The murthi in the temple represent kali in her fierce ( Ugra ) form with a Pleasant face, featuring four hands with Pallival, Shirassu, Thrissula and vessel.Routine worship in the temple begins at 5.30 am and ends at 19.30.
