QUICPay

QUICPay is a Japanese FeliCa based electronic money payment service operated by JCB Co., Ltd.. QUICPay was launched in 2005, and a version with expanded functionality called QUICPay+ was launched in 2016.[1] Its name comes from an abbreviation of "Quick and Useful IC Payment".[2]

QUICPay was developed jointly by JCB and AEON Credit Services (now AEON Financial Services), and was announced on July 20, 2004.[3][2][4]
