Q Perior (officially Q_PERIOR) is an internationally operating consultancy firm specialized in management and IT consulting.[1].
History[edit]
Q Perior was established in 2011 through the merger of three companies: the agens Group (trading as agens Consulting GmbH and paricon AG)[2] and ESPRiT Consulting AG[3]. The name Q_PERIOR is a conflation of ‘quality’ and ‘superior’[4]. As a result of the merger, staff numbers increased to over 400 employees[5]. From 1977 onwards, agens Consulting GmbH, the consulting and implementation partner to the german banking and insurance industry in, offered a wide spectrum of management, IT and SAP consulting services. ESPRiT Consulting AG was established by four former Accenture consultants in 1995. paricon AG, which was founded in 2000, specialised in the implementation of SAP products and industry solutions for various markets[3]. Q Perior merged with the Swiss company P5group Holding in 2017. The business consultancy with the subsidiaries Adverdi, IC&Partner and ER & Partner focused on digitalisation and compliance projects for the financial services industry[6].
The owner-managed Q Perior Group, which now employs more than a thousand consultants, closed business year 2017 with total turnover of €177 million[4].
Q Perior ranks fourth among German management consultancies according to the Lünendonk list published in 2018[7].
