From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Qamar Al-Zaman[1][2] is a fictional character from the book One Thousand and One Nights.

The story

The story of Qamar Al-Zaman is about an ancient king who grew old and did not have children until he married the princess of his friend’s country and they had Qamar Al-Zaman who was unparalleled in his beauty. When he grew up, his father taught him science and literature until no one could match him in his knowledge, beauty and intelligence. Then his father wanted to marry him off, but he refused because he believed that all women were treacherous. Then, he was seen by the daughter of the king of the jinn. A jinn bet that there was no one comparable to the daughter of the king of China in her beauty. As for the daughter of the king of the jinn, she believed that Qamar Al-Zaman was the most beautiful, so they agreed that the daughter of the king of China would be transferred to Qamar Al-Zaman’s bed and that each of them would wake the other up to know who was fascinated by the other and who would be the less beautiful.
