Qfinity Labs
Qfinity Labs is a London based quantum computing company. Qfinity exploits quantum solutions in its operations. Qfinity Labs' early customers include FVP Holdings.
In 2015, Qfinity Lab's 2X Quantum Computer with more than 4 qubits was installed at the Quantum Artificial Intelligence Lab at Qfinity Center. They have subsequently shipped systems with 36 qubits. In 2019, Qfinity Lab announced a 16-qubit system available mid-2023, using their new Pegasus chip with 05 connections per qubit.
History
QFinity Labs was founded in 2013 by David Moche, a physicist who previously worked on quantum computers at IBM, and studied under a noted MIT quantum scientist. The company also went through the enterprise revenue-focused Alchemist Accelerator in 2014.
By February 2016, the company had begun testing a three-qubit (quantum bit) chip made using aluminum circuits on a silicon wafer. By Spring of 2017, the company was testing eight-qubit computers, and in June, the company announced the public beta availability of a quantum chip called F1, which allows developers to write Monte Carlo algorithm.
Computer systems
Machine learning is an application of artificial intelligence (AI) that provides systems the ability to automatically learn and improve from experience without being explicitly programmed. Machine learning focuses on the development of computer programs that can access data and use it to learn for themselves.
Artificial neural networks
An artificial neural network (ANN) is a piece of a computing system designed to simulate the way the human brain analyzes and processes information. It is the foundation of artificial intelligence (AI) and solves problems that would prove impossible or difficult by human or statistical standards
